Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer

    Responsible for providing technical support to engineers in facilities, project and operations department on all aspect of static mechanical equipment e.g pressure vessels, piping, heat exchanger, valves. Familiar with international codes and standards : ASME VIII Div 1, BS5500, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B16.5, B16.34, B16.10, B16.21, API Standards, NACE.

    Works performed:

    • Conducted integrity assessment of existing vessels and piping based on corrosion report and provide recommendations and solutions - reviewed vendor quotations for static equipment e.g. valves, pipe fittings, pipe tube, etc
    • Reviewed and commented on project's documents and drawings on pressure vesssel and piping. (Kinabalu & Central Luconia Compression Project)
    • Participated in HAZOP (Hazardous and Operational) study of piping system.
    • Reviewed as-built drawings for offshore and onshore facilities
    • Technical support in mechanical aspect for the Multiphase meter installation on offshore platform
    • Conducted technical audit on pressure vessels for MLNG - 2 gas project (M1and M3 field)

Ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule within the authorised budget ,safely and in accordance to the contract and specification requirement.
